Givex Soars to New Heights with Delta Air Lines and UATP - Washington D.C., 22 September 2015

Washington DC, 22 September 2015 – Newly integrated with UATP, Givex is now able to provide its platform, including gift cards, to airlines across the world. Givex has just signed major carrier Delta Air Lines to use this platform. The partnership between UATP and Givex expands airlines’ offerings to meet customer demand for additional payment options.

Delta Becomes the First U.S. Airline To Offer Alipay Payment and Improve the Ease of Online Booking from China - Atlanta and Shanghai, 1 April 2015

ATLANTA and SHANGHAIApril 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is partnering with Ant Financial Services Group (“Ant Financial”) and UATP to make it easier for Chinese consumers to purchase airline tickets via delta.com. The move, which sees Delta become the first United States carrier to add Ant Financial’s Alipay payment platform to its website, is part of the airline’s ongoing effort to serve Chinese travelers. UATP’s alternative form of payment processing initiative connects airlines with online payment brands such as Alipay.

With the Alipay payment option on delta.com, Chinese travelers will now be able to use China’s most trusted payment method when they book Delta flights. Alipay is China’s leading online payment provider and the primary means of online and mobile payment for Chinese consumers.

China has emerged as the world’s top-spending and fastest-growing tourism source market over the past decade due to rapid urbanization and the astonishing growth of its middle class. With an enthusiasm for exploring new destinations and different lifestyles, this new generation of Chinese consumers has made the United States its most desired travel destination. In 2013, 1.8 million Chinese travelers visited the United States, contributing $21.1 billion to the U.S. economy*. Following the recent easing of reciprocal visa policies between the U.S. and China, a further increase in Chinese travelers is now expected.

“We are thrilled to help Delta Air Lines make purchasing travel from China easier and more accessible than ever,” said Jingming Li, President, Ant Financial Services Group, Americas. “Giving Chinese customers access to the payment method they most trust signals the great service that they can expect when they travel with Delta – from the ease of online booking to the airline’s Chinese-speaking flight attendants and airport support.”

The partnership with Ant Financial will help Delta connect with the more than 300 million registered Alipay users in China. These savvy online consumers will be able to fund their Alipay purchase on delta.com through bank accounts or credit or debit cards with over 200 Alipay financial institution partners around the world.

“This exciting new partnership is one of many Delta initiatives to build the most Chinese-friendly U.S. airline,” said Vinay Dube, Delta’s senior vice president – Asia Pacific. “As the U.S. and China have agreed to issue multiple-entry visas for up to ten years for short-term business and tourist travel, our partnership with Alipay will give more Chinese consumers the chance to experience traveling in the U.S. with our industry-leading product and service in flight and on the ground.”

Delta operates nonstop flights from Beijing and Shanghai-Pudong to two U.S. gateways, Detroit and Seattle, where passengers can connect to more than 250 U.S. cities. Delta also operates daily nonstop flights from Shanghai-Pudong to TokyoNarita, where passengers have additional connection options to Delta’s global network. Delta recently announced a new service between Shanghaiand Los Angeles starting July 9, 2015.

Delta has been increasing nonstop flights from China to the U.S. since 2009 to address the growing travel demand in the market. Delta continues to make significant investments to build the most Chinese-friendly U.S. airline. Chinese travelers are well served with local language options on the delta.com website, at airport self-service kiosks and among inflight entertainment selections. The airline is also proud to have Chinese-speaking flight attendants and to offer Chinese cuisine among its inflight meal options.

UATP Adds Silverrail as a New Master Merchant to the Network - Washington D.C., 10 March 2015

Washington D.C., 10 March 2015 – UATP announced today that SilverRail Technologies has joined the UATP Network which will allow Subscribers to easily purchase European and North American train tickets through SilverRail with their UATP card.

“SilverRail’s mission is to simplify the complex process of rail ticketing, which means making it as easy to purchase a train ticket as a plane ticket,” said William Phillipson, president, SilverRail Technologies. “Partnering with UATP allows our corporate customers to buy train tickets with the same card they use to purchase airline tickets, further supporting our mission, and expanding our corporate market share.”

“SilverRail joining will allow UATP to be better equipped for expanding the rail segment of the Network,” said Ralph Kaiser, CEO and president, UATP. “Rail travel is a significant percentage of transportation for corporate travel; allowing Subscribers to use their preferred payment method to purchase tickets will help the corporate traveler and broaden UATP’s Network reach.”

Rail is complex because there is no ‘industry standard’ with each rail company utilizing its own internal coding and ticketing process.  SilverRail fixed this issue by creating a single global ticketing platform for buyers to use. Through the UATP – SilverRail integration, UATP Subscribers are able to purchase rail tickets in Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the U.K. and the U.S with their UATP card.

SITA TO PROVIDE NEXT-GEN INFRASTRUCTURE FOR UATP'S $12 BILLION PAYMENT SYSTEM

Washington, DC, Geneva – 19 January, 2011 UATP (Universal Air Travel Plan), the low cost payment network, today announced the selection of SITA to provide a next-generation authorization and settlement infrastructure for its payment system, which annually processes transactions worth more than $12 billion.

The arrangement between SITA and UATP will cover the delivery of payment services including an authorization and settlement processing platform, as well as hosting and customer support services. The solution for UATP incorporates Horizon Payment Services which is a key component of Horizon, SITA’s next-generation passenger management system.

UATP’s connectivity reaches over 95% of the world’s airline passenger-carrying capacity and provides low-cost alternatives to expensive credit card and merchant service fees. Airlines can completely avoid credit card fees if their corporate clients purchase tickets on the airline that issued their UATP card.

Ralph Kaiser, UATP, President and CEO, said: “UATP is strategically growing its network encompassing hotel and car rental merchants and expanding our alternative forms of payment processing. Updating our infrastructure with SITA’s cutting-edge technology allows for our planned expansion and improved efficiencies with new systems.”

SITA’s new technology will replace UATP’s existing infrastructure, which has been in place since 2000 and was provided by multiple suppliers.

Kaiser added: “For UATP there are significant benefits to dealing with a single supplier, and in particular with SITA, because this organization understands both the industry in which we operate, and complex payment systems. SITA is a unique partner; unlike any other it has a mandate, like UATP, to serve the airline community and to reduce costs wherever possible.”

SITA has a 25 year history in travel payments including credit card authorization services that manage more than 24 million transactions per year from GDSs and airline reservations systems to all major credit card schemes.

Brian Cook, SITA Vice President, Passenger Solutions, said: “SITA’s global trend surveys have shown the continued adoption of online booking and the growing importance of kiosk and mobile payments.  Airlines need an integrated payment infrastructure that is accessible from all touch points and routes transactions to the most appropriate payment channel.

“Our major investment in the Horizon passenger management solutions and our experience in the air travel payment business combined with our global IT and communications infrastructure will bring huge benefits to UATP and its customers. UATP’s selection demonstrates that the market clearly sees the value that SITA brings to passenger processing.”

SITA is using Authentic, the payment engine from Alaric, the SOA (service-oriented architecture)-oriented payment software provider, as a component of its next-generation payment infrastructure.

Over the past two years airlines from all parts of the globe tapped UATP’s network and expertise to solve a myriad of distribution and payment-related challenges ranging from corporate travel charge programs, prepaid card solutions and government travel initiatives. UATP’s unique ability to deliver solutions that enable airlines to grow their business while decreasing their cost of sale has led to a record number of carriers joining the Network.

Over 250 airlines and thousands of travel agencies accept UATP as a low-cost form of payment for air travel, service fees, management fees and net fares.  Not only does this make UATP an impressive network for corporate clients who use it as their preferred form of payment but those entities that accept UATP save money because of low merchant service charges.

IATA PREDICTS $2.5B NET PROFIT FOR 2010

High Costs to Industry Remain Focal Point Washington, DC – 10 June 2010 The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced the airline industry’s expected return to profitability, $2.5 billion in 2010, during its Annual General Meeting held in Berlin this week.   Yet, a major focus of the event was on the continued high costs that the airline industry faces, including a new air travel tax imposed on the industry by the German government this week. While the industry in totality is expected to return to profitability after one of its worst years in history, Europe remains the one region that will continue operating at a loss, with expected losses of $2.8 billion according to IATA, making the new German air tax one more factor affecting the revival of the industry. IATA Director General and CEO, Giovanni Bisignani viewed the state of the industry with “cautious optimism” while highlighting costs that could potentially return the industry to the red.  Specific areas included a return to overcapacity, labor strife and external costs.  IATA’s “Wall of Shame” included the western GDSs who, according to Bisignani, are “charging at least $4 per transaction when China’s TravelSky does it for just $1.20”.  Taxation and the cost of oil were also viewed as major threats to a return to profitability; however, one area that was not addressed that greatly affects airline profitability was the high cost of commercial credit card acceptance. “We praise the efforts addressed by IATA on behalf of our airline owners, however, the failure to address credit card fees will be a continual drag on earnings,” stated UATP CEO and President, Ralph Kaiser.  “Credit card fees continue to rise and affect the bottom line of the airlines.  The true cost of accepting credit cards is higher than most airlines realize and more times than not exceed GDS fees.” Kaiser added, “Airlines need to review card agreements and rationalize card fees with their credit card partners so that they are receiving true value for money.  High value traffic and, particularly, corporate customers, should be loyal to an airline, not a credit card.  With help from IATA, this challenge can be overcome and help the industry continue its way back to profitability.  UATP is designed specifically to help with this problem.” UATP’s connectivity reaches over 95% of the world’s airline passenger-carrying capacity and provides low-cost alternatives to expensive credit card and merchant service fees. Airlines can completely avoid credit card fees if their corporate clients purchase tickets on the airline’s own UATP card. AEROMAR AND UATP BEGIN A SUCCESSFUL COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP FOR THE BENEFIT OF BUSINESS TRAVELERS AND COMPANIES IN MEXICO

The commercial relationship with one of the world’s most important and highly recognized global charge systems will be long and fruitful: Ami Lindenberg

Mexico City – As part of the strategy to offer its customers value added services, Aeromar has joined UATP (Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc). Effective immediately, the airline will accept all corporate charge cards from its new commercial ally.

UATP, the low cost payment network privately owned by the world’s Airlines, allows businesses and their affiliates to make business travel payments to a series of associate airlines. Aeromar is now part of this system, which is a useful tool for companies, allowing them to have better control over their travel management programs.

When discussing the new partnership, Aeromar President Ami Lindenberg expressed with great optimism that “the business relationship which starts today with one of the most important and recognized international global charge systems will undoubtedly be long and fruitful, and will benefit travelers and corporations as well.”

Given that more than 80% of Aeromar passengers are business travelers, Ami Lindenberg claimed that the “new partnership with UATP will not only help in improving quality of service but also to provide greater customer satisfaction.”

Similarly, President and CEO of UATP, Ralph Kaiser, stated that “Aeromar is one of the most prestigious and experienced airlines in Mexico, with over 22 years in service, and the UATP alliance will allow the airline to increase its presence in the corporate travel sector and grow revenue.”

Aeromar has distinguished itself by providing a high level of service to its customers, starting from the employee behind the ticket check-in counter to the attendant in-flight. These elements combined with the airline’s flight safety record, on-time performance, route network and schedule, make Aeromar one of Mexico’s most reliable and service-oriented airlines.

Currently the airline serves 18 airports and operates more than 600 weekly flights.   Since November 2007, Aeromar operates at the passenger-friendly and modern Terminal 2 in Mexico City International Airport. It is the only airline which allows its passengers to check-in up to 45 minutes before flight departure.

UATP AND REMCO ENABLE LA QUINTA ACCEPTANCE

Washington, DC – Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc, (UATP) has begun allowing the acceptance of UATP accounts for corporate hotel stays; La Quinta Inns & Suites is the launch hotel chain.  Remco Software Incorporated, which designs, distributes and supports property management software for the hospitality industry, is the technology provider enabling the authorization of UATP cards at La Quinta.

“The joint work by UATP and Remco introduced a system that improves efficiency, accuracy, reduces AR aging, and enforces customer-driven charging policies across the entire La Quinta hotel chain,” stated Mark Loyd, president and CTO, Remco Software, Inc.  “We’ll continue to work with UATP and La Quinta as expansion continues.”

Remco’s robust hotel management software, NiteVision PMS, performs online UATP authorizations for UATP cards.  This allows for use of UATP cards as a form of payment on enabled direct bill accounts.  System-wide UATP authorizations are centrally batched and reconciled, ensuring timely payment to La Quinta and minimizing paperwork.

Vice President of Operations, UATP, Gary Zannotti stated, “We worked with Remco to have direct connectivity to our systems, which enables La Quinta to perform authorization transactions against UATP cards.”  He added, “The system has been performing exactly as it should and through the integration, we are able to provide UATP corporate clients the data wanted for their La Quinta stays. ”

“NiteVision enforces customer-specific billing policies so that customers can be confident their travelling employees are following corporate policy,” stated Vivek Shaiva,  La Quinta’s chief information officer.  “This feature reduces billing discrepancies and the auditing required to research guest stay history by giving La Quinta operating control over the entire system. Corporate clients can be assured that the payments made to UATP cards were legitimate, company-authorized charges.”

The UATP/La Quinta relationship benefits both parties and the corporate client base of UATP.  It enables La Quinta to give its client base the requested form of payment, and UATP expansion into the hotel market and access to a new channel of transaction volume.

UATP NETWORK ADDS LA QUINTA INNS & SUITES AS MERCHANT

Washington,DC – Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. (UATP), the low cost travel payment network privately owned by the world’s airlines, announced today the addition of La Quinta Inns & Suites as a new merchant to the UATP Network, the first hotel chain to become part of the network. UATP’s centrally billed product enhances the management of corporate travel programs through its superior data and ease of reconciliation.

“UATP is a premier player in the corporate travel industry and we are honored to be selected as the first hotel chain in the UATP Network,” said Wayne B. Goldberg, president and chief executive officer, La Quinta. “By central billing hotel stays through UATP, clients avoid direct billing issues and receive additional information to better manage their travel program. La Quinta had a very successful launch period with Walmart and we plan to rapidly expand the use of UATP with other corporate clients.”

The UATP – La Quinta partnership grew out of UATP’s strategic objectives to enhance the UATP Network by expanding into hotels and car rentals. La Quinta was selected as the first chain to implement due to client-demand.

“Corporate client demand for UATP acceptance at hotels drove this initiative,” stated UATP president and CEO, Ralph Kaiser. “This is a strategic move that will enable UATP to expand and also create synergies for our corporate clients. We will continue growing the hotel merchant base as we also add car rentals to our network.”

American Airlines, the founder of UATP, was the first issuer to expand into hotel merchant acceptance. “Walmart approached us to see if we could utilize their UATP account for hotels. We worked with UATP and La Quinta to make it happen. We’ve been successfully running the program since 2009 and see additional opportunities to expand it,” said, Karen Buls, director of SME products, marketing and sales strategy for American Airlines. “We’re pleased to be the launch airline issuer to offer this service,” she added.

“By enhancing this product into hotel acceptance, it adds efficiencies and cost savings into our travel program,” said Rick Johnson, senior director of travel services for Walmart. “Plus, this will provide a centrally-billed product that can be easily reconciled.”

“Adding La Quinta as a merchant was the first step,” added Kaiser. “We will continue to grow the relationship with La Quinta and will expand the client base significantly. This is going to be a very interesting year for UATP. Stay tuned.”

GOL LAUNCHES UATP CORPORATE CARD

Card will provide customers with a globally accepted payment option for corporate travel

São Paulo– GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. (Bovespa: GOLL4 and NYSE: GOL), the largest low-cost and low-fare airline in Latin America, announced today that the Company has become the first airline in Latin America to issue UATP accounts with the launch of its new GOL Corporate Card to business customers.

Accepted by more than 250 associated airlines, representing over 95% of all passenger air travel capacity worldwide, UATP is designed to lower the cost of sale by reducing or eliminating credit card transaction fees to airlines.  Travel agencies also benefit through UATP due to lower credit card merchant service fees and the ability to automatically reconcile ticket numbers to service fees via UATP’s travel agency merchant program.  For corporations, the network provides a simple and direct payment method which unlike other forms of payment, allows them to avoid foreign currency conversion fees, annual fees and per card fees.  All UATP subscribers enjoy robust transactional data on all air travel purchases.

“UATP is a valuable tool to strengthen GOL’s position among corporations and travel agencies, while reducing our distribution costs,” says Tarcísio Gargioni, GOL’s vice-president – Marketing and Services.  “This is a new way of payment in Latin America and GOL is the first airline in the region to become a UATP Issuer.”

GOL UATP subscribers will benefit from simple enrollment, payment and reconciliation processes combined with state-of-the-art air travel activity reports.  The GOL UATP program enhances travel expense management through detailed information including passenger name, carrier, destination, and other components of the travel itinerary.  GOL will use UATP’s new hosted billing system and corporate portal, UATP Processing Solutions, which allows for corporations to assign individual UATP account numbers to specific cost centers.

According to Ralph Kaiser, president and CEO, UATP, “Adding one of the leading low-cost, low-fare carriers like GOL to UATP’s list of Issuing airlines demonstrates how popular this payment model is, not only in the Brazilian market, but worldwide. Corporate travelers in South America who use the GOL Corporate Card will experience a new level of convenience and service wherever they travel which will enhance GOL’s already stellar reputation.”

“By becoming an Issuer in the UATP network, GOL adds a new option for corporate travel payment capable of servicing the needs of corporations to include those who prefer to book through direct channels.  With the Company’s largest route network in South America, our new UATP Corporate Card program will enable us to strengthen our relationship with our corporate customers,” added Mr. Gargioni.

UKASH DEAL WITH UATP OPENS THE SKIES TO CASH PAYMENTS

Washington, DC UATP, the low cost travel payment network privately owned by the world’s airlines, has been looking for alternative payment solutions to provide the global airline industry with access to the lucrative cash market. Its deal with Ukash will open up air travel to a huge proportion of the world’s population that are currently ‘unbanked’ or without credit or debit cards, as well as those that choose not to make purchases over the internet due to fears of online fraud and identity theft.

UATP, which works with over 250 airlines, is diversifying its product offering as it looks to attract new consumers and maintain demand for air travel in the difficult current economic climate.

Ukash customers exchange cash for a prepaid voucher containing a unique 19-digit number which is then used to pay online. As an online payment method, Ukash provides those without access to bank accounts with a viable, safe solution for spending their money over the Internet and offers a solution to the problem of credit card fraud.

The secure Ukash voucher number is used to pay online, and as it’s prepaid the payment is assured to the merchant. No financial details are exchanged with the merchant, making Ukash increasingly attractive to online consumers concerned about data security.

“Working with UATP to offer Ukash to airlines around the world will bring considerable benefits. Carriers now have the option to accept risk-free payments from consumers in countries with low card penetration whilst reassuring their customers that online payments are safe,” adds Ukash CEO Mark Chirnside.

“The growth of low cost carriers is putting air travel within reach of many more people so we’re delighted to add Ukash to the range of payment methods we can offer our airline partners,” comments Ralph Kaiser, CEO of UATP. “We want to remove the barriers to travellers getting online access to the best range of flights and other travel services so adding payment services like Ukash that are prepaid and preserve financial anonymity is a great move forward.”

Consumers from across the world can purchase Ukash vouchers online, on mobile or at more than 275,000 stores globally.

About Ukash(TM)

Ukash(TM) is a globally-recognised e-commerce payment method to enable online purchases using cash, providing freedom from credit and debit card fraud, repudiations and charge-backs, and protecting personal identity.

Ukash(TM) is regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) and operates as one of the only a small number of Electronic Money Institutions, a status that allows a single maximum online cash payment transaction of up to 500 Sterling pounds/750 euros.

Uniquely numbered Ukash(TM) vouchers are widely available through payment terminals in retail outlets across Europe and South Africa. In the UK, they are also available direct to mobile for Vodafone subscribers and from spring 2009, Ukash vouchers will also be issued online from the company’s website in most European territories.

The technology behind Ukash is protected by several patents registered across the Smart Voucher database and functionality and is, as such, protected by Patent Law in all the major economies of the world. Ukash(TM) is a registered trademark of Smart Voucher Ltd.

In 2008, Ukash(TM) established a strategic partnership with South African payments giant Blue Label Telecoms to develop the brand’s services.

UATP ANNOUNCES RECORD CHARGE VOLUME FOR 2008

Washington, DC– Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. (UATP), the low cost payment network privately owned by the world’s airlines, today announced record charge volume and profits for calendar year 2008.  UATP CEO Ralph Kaiser stated, “UATP continues to prosper even in today’s economic environment.  While we see challenges from an overall decrease in travel spending in the upcoming year, there are enough growth drivers in our business to continue to be optimistic about our performance in 2009.”

UATP processed approximately US$12 billion in 2008, all with just 38 staff worldwide.

UATP has also been working hard to diversify its product offerings beyond its core corporate travel charge card business with great success. “UATP’s alternate form of payment processing business has taken off in 2008 much like our USS business did after its launch a few years back.  Both lines of business are posting impressive growth rates,” added Kaiser.

UATP’s alternate form of payment processing includes work for such online payment brands as Acculynk, BillMeLater, HomeATM, Moneta and PayPal.

USS is UATP’s in-house, proprietary settlement system which allows travel agency and low-cost air carrier payment processing to be conducted outside of normal channels.  In 2009, in addition to offering air travel payment, with its industry leading data, UATP plans to expand its merchant base via USS to include hotels and rental car companies. This is expected to add significant charge volume to the network and greatly enhance the core product offering.

Notwithstanding the current economic climate, 2009 will be a growth year for UATP.  We are a dynamic and hungry company and we’re always looking for ways to save money for the airlines and their corporate customers while enhancing profitability for our shareholders,” concluded Kaiser.

NETWORK FACILITATES LAUNCH OF INTERNET PIN DEBIT PAYMENTS FOR THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY

UATP HELPS ACCULYNK CONNECT TO AIRLINES

Washington, DC– Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) has partnered with
Acculynk to enable the use of PIN debit cards for online purchases for the travel industry.
Acculynk is the first company in the U.S. to offer a software-only service for online PIN debit
payments that is integrated directly into the airline checkout and requires no consumer
enrollment or redirection.
“Our new partnership with Acculynk will benefit consumers and airlines alike: the consumer gets
their payment option of choice and the airlines have an additional payment option enabled
without any significant IT work,” said Ralph Kaiser, president & CEO, UATP. “With Acculynk,
UATP continues its mission to work with quality partners and provide airlines with new
consumer demand and revenue while lowering the cost of sale; everyone wins.”
“Our partnership with UATP allows their airline partners to implement our service quickly, with
little effort and cost,” said Tom Wilkerson, vice president of business development for Acculynk.
“Our Internet PIN Debit service provides airlines significant value through lower fees, reduced
charge-backs, and new revenue opportunities. Our service does not require any hardware plugin
and securely executes payment transactions in under 6 seconds.”
When consumers arrive at the online airline checkout, they are given the option to pay for their
purchase with PIN debit. Consumers enter their card number and associated information as
they normally would, but the PIN is entered on Acculynk’s graphical, scrambling PIN-pad. The
PIN is encrypted, never passes through the airline checkout, and is processed securely, along
with the card information, across existing payment channels.
PIN debit is a preferred consumer payment option at the brick and mortar point of sale because
it is safe, convenient and easy to use. Acculynk brings the same convenience and security to
the Internet, and allows consumers to leverage a debit card they already have and a PIN they
already know, right at the airline checkout. Internet PIN Debit provides airlines reduced
interchange fees and charge-backs, guaranteed funds with 1-2 day settlement, and new
transactions from security-conscious consumers and those that cannot use their debit card
Acculynk is partnering with several EFT networks to process online PIN debit transactions and
merchant acquirers to deploy the service. For more information, visit http://uatp.com or www.acculynk.com.

UATP SIGNS DEAL WITH HomeATM ePAYMENT SOLUTIONS Targets Airlines with Alternative Form of Payment

UATP SIGNS DEAL WITH HomeATM ePAYMENT SOLUTIONS

Washington, DC – Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. (UATP), today announced a partnership with HomeATM ePayment Solutions, a global online payment solution and web security engineering firm.  The partnership will initially offer an alternative payment option to the global commercial airline community.

“UATP continues to expand its partnerships into alternative forms of payment with HomeATM, utilizing UATP’s existing connections with the airlines to offer a new form of payment option for consumer use,” said Ralph Kaiser president and CEO, UATP.  “UATP’s goal is to maximize the usage of the network infrastructure and offer to the buying-public the options of payment that they are looking for.”

Addressing the consumer need for online debit card processing abilities, HomeATM developed a secure PIN debit and PIN credit card (as card present) transaction method via the internet; the growing preferred method of payment for consumers and merchants alike.  HomeATM’s unique system utilizes state of the art technology and the HomeATM swipe pad to allow users to conduct secure, PIN-based transactions ensuring virtually zero fraud and with significantly lower merchant processing fee costs.

“Through this partnership, airlines will be able to address the growing demand for alternative forms of payment, significantly reduce their cost and offer the buyer side 99-Sigma security”, said Mitchell Cobrin, chief operating officer, HomeATM.  “Our motivation for aligning with UATP was to extend this most timely payment process to as wide a swath of the travel sector in as short a lead time as possible. Now that it is done, HomeATM will gain speed to market by offering a quasi Plug and Play solution to commercial airlines globally. We could not be more pleased.”

Functionally, HomeATM mirrors brick and mortar POS transaction processes and is the first player in the e-payment space to bring PIN – or dually authenticated – debit to the web environment. In addition – through its PinMyCard technology and with an eye to increasing the security of sensitive buyer data and lowering merchant processing, fraud and reserve costs – HomeATM will be offering airline clients the capability of generating a PIN for use with their credit cards.
