UATP Expands Its Network to Include Turkish Airlines as an Issuer

May 22, 2017

Washington D.C. 22 May 2017 – UATP announced today the addition of Star Alliance member, Turkish Airlines, as their newest Issuer to the corporate travel payment network. In partnership with UATP and Yapı Kredi Bank, Turkish Airlines is now offering the Turkish Airlines Corporate Club Card to their business travelers.

The Turkish Airlines Corporate Club Card is available with charge and prepaid options. Account holders receive exclusive benefits, including payment installment plans, discounts, extra baggage allowances and access to the Istanbul Lounge whenever they use their UATP card to purchase flights on any of the more than 260 airlines in the Network. The cost-effective UATP program is the first corporate loyalty program created for travelers in Turkey.

Speaking further on the partnership, president and CEO of UATP Ralph Kaiser commended it saying, “The idea behind the Turkish Corporate Club product was to create a well-rounded, robust product for businesses to save on all corporate travel expenses. Turkish Airlines has positioned itself for a successful program that will maximize profit within the airline and greatly benefit their corporate travelers.”

Turkish Airlines has been operating since 1933 and was most recently named “Europe’s Best Airline” for the sixth consecutive year by Skytrax. The airline currently travels to 250 international and 49 domestic locations.
