New leadership roles to optimize UATP’s Charge Card and AFP Processing operations

WASHINGTON, Feb. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — UATP is excited to announce the addition of four new members to its executive team.  UATP’s focus on lowering distribution costs for airlines by providing cutting edge payment and processing solutions has fueled record growth and opportunity.  UATP is adding these new executives to help pursue UATP’s strategic plan and future growth.

“We are extremely excited to welcome these new executives to the UATP leadership team,” said Ralph Kaiser, president and CEO, UATP.  “With their industry experience and expertise, I am confident that they will play integral roles in the growth of UATP’s Charge Card and AFP Processing businesses. UATP’s leadership has never been stronger.”

The organizational changes are aligned with UATP’s strategy to put a higher level of focus and resource on the future growth of UATP’s two core programs: the Corporate Charge Card and AFP Processing. The leadership update was announced after UATP reported its record-breaking 2018 results with Charge Volume growing 9% year-over-year and Alternative Payment processing recording year-over-year growth of 11%.

Dave Goldwin has joined UATP as Chief Legal Officer.  As CLO, Goldwin will represent the company on commercial and legal affairs, international issues, and corporate governance matters relating to the organization’s Shareholders and Board of Directors.  Prior to UATP, Goldwin served as Vice President of Legal at TSYS Acquiring Solutions, LLC.

Zach Ornelas will lead the Network Sales department as Vice President of Global Network Sales. In this role, Ornelas is responsible for the promotion and expansion of UATP’s Charge Card Network, along with managing new and existing Shareholder and Merchant relationships. Ornelas comes from MSTS where he was instrumental in securing partnerships, including work with UATP, as Director, Global Business Development.  Before that, Zach held other business development positions, including on the American Express global corporate payments team.

Rachel Morowitz has been appointed Vice President of Alternative Forms of Payment.  Morowitz will be responsible for setting AFP sales strategy and continuing the success UATP has seen in recent years with its airline and AFP partners.  Rachel has re-joined UATP, where she previously served as Director of Product Management, from Capital One Bank.

Charisse Chisolm has been named UATP’s new Vice President of Business Development and will be in charge of identifying new ways to grow UATP’s payment and processing lines of business.  Prior to accepting this position, Chisolm served as Vice President of Partner Management at Elavon, Inc.
