Three OTAs Add UATP as Payment Option

Expedia and subsidiaries Orbitz and Travelocity now accept UATP as a payment method for air bookings originating in the U.S. The partnership allows UATP clients to capture unmanaged travel spend, as airfare transactions on the three sites will follow the same process, including data collection and transfer, as for a ticket purchased directly from a UATP-accepting airline. Likewise, travel managers’ UATP statements will include the itinerary data.
