Corporate travelers soon will be able to use UATP accounts for rides with Uber as well as orders through Uber Eats, thanks to a new partnership between the airline-owned payment network and Uber for Business, under which UATP will be added as a payment option within Uber Wallet.
Set to roll out in the coming weeks, the integration is the first such rideshare partnership for UATP. The network over the past year and a half has grown its acceptance network via partnerships with TripActions, Air China and Citcon, which specializes in providing merchant acquiring and other services for the North American acceptance of Chinese mobile payment giants such as Alipay and WeChat Pay.
